SMOOTH GOOD SHIFTING

Lightweight
Smooth
Good looks
Reliable
The barrel adjuster is easily bent and i can't find anywhere to replace it so i have to do it manually
Apart from the barrel adjusters they are a brilliant buy and if you want shimano gear but don't want the stupid dual control shifters use these and you will never look back.

WAY BETTER THAN LX OR DEORE

Quick, light shifting action
None yet
Replaced my previous LX shifters with these and compared with those and the Deore's I have on my other bike, these really are a step up. Much lighter action, seemingly much more precise result.

Definitely a pleasure to ride

(24sp) Reviews say more durable than XTR?

Extremely comfortable and the price isn't too bad either.
Shifting windows are obstucted by Disc Levers, thumb-shifter poor durability.
A good quality shifter let down by the hook which grabs the cog for drawing cable in. I've sheared two of these now (both on the rhs) but I still come back for more because they are the best value for money.

Major let down is availability - pairs only!! I hope the 27 speed ones are better.
