SWEET!
Looks, lovely smooth travel, British!
Travel Control problems, servicing must be done by PACE.
To be honest this is my second pair of forks ever. I had a minor problem with the travel control however a quick email to PACE resulted in a modified part being sent back promptly. Excellent customer service by PACE. These forks are brilliant, no question. I do feel sorry for some of the people who have had problems as I have had no trouble with mine. After 2 years of riding they are still as smooth as ever. They may not be the cheapest forks but you do get what you pay for!

UNRELIABLE.
Fabulous performance when working. Stiff, with classic Pace controlled damping
That damping.. terribly unreliable, has broken down four times in less than two years. And the travel adjust has failed twice.
Too complex for their own good; good simple damping and a reliable spring mechanism would have been better.

TOP PERFORMING FORKS
Look great, good value, smooth action, siff, bags of travel. Not Fox (which everyone else has). Pace customer service has been great.
Shops seem to be unwilling to service, therefore a trip to Pace is needed. That means an extra £40 on postage. Stickers could be more durable.
Have had them for a year now with no real problems. Did have some oil seepage from the sprung leg in it's early days. Probably just an overfill of oil as it felt better afterwards. Reliability seems fine, but I did also have a Maz atom 80 for nearly 5 years with only 2 full services. Am very impressed.

SO FAR, SUPERB
Beautifully finished, inspire confidence, relatively easy to clean.
Finding the lock-out threshold setting is proving to be difficult, but I don't find not using lock-out on rides too much of a problem
Early days, but it's great to be able to support a British product.
