GOOD VALUE, GOOD SOCIAL, GOOD BIKING

close to town with 46 bars and offers road biking as well as MTB
none
probably unique offering both MTB and road biking, not out in the middle in nowhere, and providing the right blend of biking/beers. Uplifts are provided on some runs, but there is a mix of uphills as well to increase your fitness. Have been 4times over last 5years, which probably says it all

GREAT BIKING IN UNSPOILT SPANISH MOUNTAINS

A huge choice of rides, the guide has amazing and unique trail knowledge.
Trails to suit all skills.
You can still see real Spain there & the weather is great. Get a tan, get covered in dust for once instead of mud and rain!
Struggling here, can't think of any. I wouldn't be going back for the fourth time if there was!
Would recommend this location to any rider, there are rides for all abilities. I have only riden MTBs there but road bike guys have a good choice as well. Descended over 2000m one day! Discs turned blue! Down a mixture technical and mixed trails - breaking out into one village after another. After the ride get back to Orgiva, have a beer in the square, chill out and then enjoy the town in the evening....go there!

FANTASTIC ALL ROUND (BIKING) HOLIDAY!

If you like -

Riding your bike
Mega down hill sections
Sun
Scenery
A relaxed atmosphere
The real Spain
Cerveza
Tapas
Banter
Great company

................then this is for you!
You have to go home!
Having been on several biking holidays to a number of destinations, I think I have found my ideal in Orgiva. My next visit will be my 5th! The location is fantastic. You can literally roll out of the front door, straight into biking bliss! No need for messing around with travelling to your ride, you're already there!!! Within half an hour of riding from the Cortijo you will have done descents / ascents / scenery / single track / technical and banter provoking undulation, the likes of which you won't get in the UK. Top Banana!

David, your host, makes you feel relaxed and at home from the moment you touch down in Spain. Tell him what kind of riding you want to do and he'll make it happens. The locality is so diverse and David knows it like the back of his hand.

It's not all about biking! The riding can be as gruelling or as easy as you want to make it but you can be sure a cold beer and tapas is only around the corner. Each day you will find a new and picturesque Spanish village, where you can sit in the sun enjoying a cool beer and discuss the ride so far, you will then return to Orgiva where after a beer / shower / brew you can hit the bars and relax. Just Peachy!
