BEST ALL YEAR, ALL ROUND TIRE

Excellent grip and all but really mucky conditions. great cornering in the wet and over roots
Can be prone to flats, sidewalls could be thicker/stronger. I have ripped several sidewalls but just pacthed them up and they still perform great.
Best tire I have used in years, nearly as good as wildgrippers from years ago. Had more flat tires than normal but think i will try the kevlar sided ones. Flat's aside I would not use another tire.

BEST VALUE ALL-ROUND TYRE

Grips well on any surface and they are about as light as you can get. I have used them for years on all surfaces in a number of countries and rarely had punctures. Adjust pressures and you can go anywhere and they are far cheaper than a lot of poorer competitors.
Weakest combination is cornering on wet hard surfaces but the only real weakness is how long they last. If you measure longevity, you might be disappointed.
Bearing in mind that these are an XC tyre and not meant to handle big drop-offs or abuse through lack of skills, value-for-money-wise they are so far ahead of the pack its silly. Even if you forget the price the performance/weight ratio leaves others in their dust.

I KEEP BUYING MORE OF THESE

Light weight, fast, good grip on and off-road. I like the colours. Kevlar bead.
It's always the sidewalls that split before the tread wears out.
Strenghts outweight weaknesses.

OK GRIP BUT SIDE WALLS ARE VEY WEAK

They are fast rolling and light. Grip in most conditions all round tyres
Puncture prone and sidwalls very weak.
I will try something else as the punture problems have anoyed me. If you run them soft they punture, if you run them hard they puncture and the sidewall blew out with one thorne at 30 psi or so.

I NEVER TYRE OF THESE TREADS

They work well in all conditions. I've not had a pinch flat whilst using them.
Being a miser, £25 a shot isn't exactly cheap.
I must be on my 4th set of these classic tyres. Have recommended them to all my riding buddies.
