Sunline's XC-One stem

Just in: Sunline sent a pair of bars and stem in for us to play with. Here’s a quick look.

Sunline makes a range of components that cater for the demands of downhill riding and racing, but it also does a tidy line of XC parts too, such as this XC-One stem. It’s machined from aluminium with most excess material removed; bringing the weight down to 119g for the 90mm seen here. 100mm and 110mm are also available, and all have a 6 degree rise and 31.8mm handlebar clamp size. The faceplate has been bead-blasted on the inside and smooth chamfered edges make the stem carbon handlebar friendly.

These V-One OS handlebars are available in five rises, including the 19mm option pictured below. It’s a generous 711mm wide (and if that isn’t enough, don’t worry as there’s also a 745mm) and has laser etched cut marks if you want to trim the edges down a bit. The bar itself is a triple butted and tapered 7075 T6 aluminium tube and is bead-blasted.

Ride impressions once we strap them to the front of a bike.
